Enjoy Your Labor Day!

September 07, 2015

Happy Labor Day! On behalf of the team at Financial Finesse, I hope that your weekend was an enjoyable one. Today, I am taking a break from blogging for the Labor Day holiday.

However, the mission to give everyone access to unbiased financial planning guidance never rests. Since the need for a proactive financial life plan also never ceases, I thought I’d put my colleagues to work for me on this Labor Day holiday. Here are some highlights from the Financial Finesse blogosphere, including some timely tips to put to work for you:

What to Do (and Not Do) During this Market Downturn by Erik Carter highlights the importance of having an investment plan during periods of market volatility (i.e., right now).

Tania Brown talks about How to Budget-Bust Proof your Spending Plan by preparing for those “expected unexpected” expenses in life.

Using Rewards Cards the Right Way is Kelley Long’s way of reminding us of the inherent dangers when we swipe credit cards with good intentions but poor execution.

Finally, Michael Smith asks Are you Suffering from Analysis Paralysis? while reminiscing about the phrase “Just Do It.”

Whatever the remainder of 2015 has in store for you, be sure to have a financial life plan to guide you along the journey. If you need any motivation to get started, just take a quick look at this web gem from actor Shia Labeouf. (Thanks to Michael Smith for bringing that to my attention.)
