Plan Now For Next Month’s America Saves Week

January 22, 2013

America Saves Week is an annual opportunity for organizations to promote good savings behavior and a chance for individuals to assess their own saving status. We are one month away from this year’s kickoff on February 25, 2013, which is the start of the 7th annual event. The Week is coordinated by America Saves and the American Education Savings Council, which is a program of the Employee Benefit Research Institute and Research Fund. Typically, over 2,000 organizations participate in the Week, reaching millions of people.

Will your company be involved? Plan now so you can find room on your February calendar to host an on-site money management workshop for your employees or schedule an online webcast if your workforce is remote.  It’s easy to get started by signing up and taking advantage of the free online marketing tools.  You can follow in the footsteps of last year’s success stories that are shared on http://www.americasavesweek.org/index.php/what-is-america-saves-week-2/highlights for proven ideas. You can also check out the 60 local, regional, and state-wide campaigns already being featured by America Saves.
