We at Financial Finesse would like to wish you and your family a happy Thanksgiving!
As a parent, I am constantly trying to instill an “attitude of gratitude” in our children and the best approach is to model this attitude as much as possible along life’s journey. I always try to devote time for regular prayer and meditation but I am also adding a simple but formal gratitude journal to the weekly routine. Did you try to put that cute winter sweater on for the first time this year, only to find that eating way too much turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing is resulting in your unsuccessful attempt to stuff yourself into clothes that are now too tight? It can be very easy to let costs spiral out of control when planning your Turkey Day feast – but remember, holiday shopping will be here before you know it. During Thanksgiving, many households (including mine) have a tradition of having each person at the table tell everyone what they are thankful for. It’s in the spirit of this tradition that I’d like to share with you why I’m thankful for estate planning. Continue reading “I’m Thankful for…Estate Planning?”
